PFH Technology are currently looking for aSenior Finance Managerto join our client's team.Contract length:12-months (with expected extensions)Location:Dublin/CorkFlexible/Hybrid– must be available to attend meetings as required.Role OverviewThe primary purpose of the Senior Finance Manager role is to lead the Finance function:To provide finance support to the Leadership Team and support the delivery of improved financial and organisational effectiveness as well as contributing to the overall mission, vision, values and strategy.To ensure Leadership has access to the necessary financial management support, including decision support, to assist them in delivering on their accountability in respect of financial management and related matters.To assist in meeting finance obligations to the Board.This will include the provision of high quality, timely and insightful reporting, on a planned and ad-hoc basis as necessary, on all aspects of the financial management and related stewardship of the function, including addressing all information requirements of the Financial Officer. This includes timely and responsive reporting, to a standard specification.To Assist in the development and monitoring of cost containment and breakeven plans within the function and for implementing and monitoring a system of nationally defined internal financial controls to ensure budgetary control and accountability.To work with the Finance & Procurement Division to ensure implementation of agreed Finance Strategy, National policies and standardised procedures.To progress financial challenges to resolution, ensuring performance metrics and KPIs are achieved.To ensure meaningful and timely analysis and interpretation of financial results to support the delivery of high-quality integrated health and social care services.To ensure the highest standard of financial processes, business intelligence, reporting and support for compliance with best practice in terms of financial matters.To deliver on all financial reporting requirements including review and input as required.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Finance Manager is a senior role within the ICT Management function and is responsible for implementing the principles of strong financial control in a technology environment.Role and responsibilities for the Senior Finance Manager are outlined below:Defining and controlling consistent and efficient processes, including the development of a detailed IT cost transparency model and chargeback/showback scheme for IT services.Developing financial metrics to ensure cost control governance and prevent overspending.Developing financial appraisal techniques for proposals, creating a value for money framework to ensure IT is delivering value as well as optimizing cost.Creating a Benefits Realisation capability around investments.Implementing TBM (Technology Business Management) framework and investigating software options to support Business Intelligence.Driving IT Cost OptimisationPreparation of timely and accurate Consolidated monthly management accounts and Board packReporting on KPI and variance analysis on monthly basisFinancial Controller responsibility for management of ICT Capital and Revenue Budget.Cashflow managementProvision of departmental financial reports for COO and Delivery Directors and providing insights on performance versus budgetKeep up to date with technical developments and ensure full compliance with requirements.Review work of and work with members of the finance teamExternal auditor liaisonEnhancing controls and systems, and developing new processes and controls to support the fast-growing global businessImplementation of new financial accounting systemManaging and mentoring junior finance and risk team members.Experience:Minimum of 10+ years' experience in a Financial Management role within a large complex organisation, encompassing direct engagement with and influencing of senior decision makers regarding financial performance and control.Experience of budget planning and strong financial management.The successful candidate should hold an industry recognised certification in Finance/Accounting.Must have experience in managing multiple stakeholders, keeping them informed and up to date as appropriate.Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.PFH Technology, owned by Ricoh – a Japanese based global ICT company, is a premier provider of end-to-end ICT solutions and a managed services portfolio scaling from SMEs to large Enterprise organisations.
