The primary objective of this role is to work as a Claims Specialist within our Commercial Lines division. This involves collaborating with account directors/executives on commercial accounts and managing all aspects related to claims.
Key Responsibilities:
* Distribute incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence relating to claims, registering and setting up new claims onto the internal system.
* Review claim documentation, maintain accurate records, and liaise with underwriters, clients, and other parties.
Liaising with insurance underwriters, clients, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information for claim processing is crucial. Preparing reports to clients regarding claim status and developments is also essential. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information professionally is paramount.
Staying updated on relevant industry regulations and policies is vital. Building long-term trusted relationships with customers through understanding their needs and providing best advice and knowledge is key.
Customer Service: Providing professional, action-orientated, and timely service to customers, staff, and management, aiming to delight them during every interaction.
Collaborating closely with designated Account Directors ensures customer needs are met through team collaboration. Ensuring quality file records meet prescribed standards, complying with regulatory requirements is crucial.
