This is a unique opportunity to work as a Maintenance Technician with a leading global medical device manufacturer in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering planned preventative maintenance
* Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment both planned and unplanned maintenance
* Driving root cause analysis to implement lasting fixes and minimize downtime
* Supporting Line Support teams to maximize machine uptime and output
* Partnering with engineers and value streams on projects to eliminate recurring issues
* Contributing to 5 S + Safety and continuous improvement initiatives
* Reporting effectively on maintenance activities and equipment status
* Ensuring full compliance with GMP and FDA standards at all times
The ideal candidate will have a Level 6 Qualification (trade or relevant discipline), strong electrical and electronic repair/diagnostic skills, mechanical problem-solving expertise, and previous manufacturing experience (medical devices, pharma, or regulated industry an advantage).
