Job DescriptionCorporate Services Security (CPSS) is Amazon's security team aligned with Finance & Global Business Services (FGBS), People eXperience & Technology (PXT), Legal, and Global Communications and Community Impact (GCCI).
Our mission is to protect Amazon's corporate services, systems, and data.
We work proactively with development teams to understand business processes and enable secure innovation, building, and scaling.
The Product Security Team supports numerous applications built using AWS Services.
We also encourage engineers to pursue passion projects while maintaining work-life balance.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreating, updating, and maintaining threat models for web applications hosted on cloudConducting manual and automated secure code reviews, primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScriptDeveloping security automation toolsPerforming adversarial security analysis using the latest toolsProviding security training and outreach to internal development teamsOffering security architecture and design guidance to application teamsSolving complex security problems with innovative methodsUsing data to influence processes, priorities, and strategies for better security outcomesCommunicating effectively with senior leaders and stakeholdersBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentKnowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IPExperience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or similarExperience with threat modeling or risk identification techniquesPreferred QualificationsExperience with AWS products and servicesExperience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, cryptography, system administration, or network securityProgramming experience in Python, Java, C++Amazon is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.
