Our client, an established medium sized accountancy practice are looking for a Tax Advisor to join the Tax Department and take a lead role in managing income tax compliance and client advisory work. The firm supports a wide range of clients, including SMEs, sole traders, and larger organisations across multiple sectors. Hybrid working model and flexible start and finish times are available.
Responsibilities
Lead the income tax function, ensuring accurate and timely filing and payment of all returns.
Guide clients on tax obligations, identify issues, and recommend compliant solutions.
Analyse records and previous filings to develop effective tax strategies and verify documentation accuracy.
Act as the direct point of contact for a book of SME clients and liaise with Revenue on their behalf.
Supervise trainees, review their work, and share relevant legislative updates.
Contribute to wider Tax Department needs and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Irish tax advisory and compliance role.
Experience in Sage Taxpro, ROS, and Microsoft Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Experience supervising or mentoring trainees, demonstrating initiative and sound judgement.
Salary / Benefits
Annual Salary of €40,000–€45,000 DOE
