Exciting Opportunity: Communications & Fundraising Manager. Are you passionate about making a difference in the environmental and community sectors? Do you have a knack for strategic communication and fundraising? We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Communications & Fundraising Manager on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
Dublin 2
6-9 month contract.
45-48k Hybrid.
About the Role:
As the Communications & Fundraising Manager, you will lead our organisation's efforts to engage stakeholders, craft compelling messages, and generate sustainable income through donations, memberships, appeals, and sponsorships. You will work closely with leadership and various teams to ensure our mission and values are communicated effectively across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising & Development: Drive donation campaigns, manage key donor relationships, support grant applications, and coordinate sponsorship opportunities.
Membership Management: Support the rollout of membership initiatives, enhance member engagement, and analyze feedback to improve offerings.
Communications: Maintain consistent messaging across all channels, lead content creation for newsletters, social media, press releases, and oversee website updates.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with programme leads to communicate impact and fundraising needs, and support internal communications and strategic planning processes.
What We're Looking For:
At least 3 years' experience in communications, development, or fundraising roles.
Proven success in managing campaigns, donor relations, and appeals.
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Experience with digital content management, social media, and website updates.
Organised, collaborative, and stakeholder-focused with a passion for environmental and community issues.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CRM systems and GDPR-compliant communication practices.
Familiarity with the Irish not-for-profit and environmental sectors.
Background in legacy giving, sponsorship strategies, branding, or content strategy.
