Job Description
The Chef de Partie is a key member of the kitchen team, responsible for supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in ensuring food preparation, production, and service meet high standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain personal and work cleanliness and hygiene throughout duties and adhere to company legislations regarding health and safety, hygiene, customer care, and security.
* Assist in preparing and compiling menus for daily business and functions, taking into account seasonal produce and special dietary requirements.
* Monitor dishes prepared from the kitchen to ensure they conform to agreed standards prior to food service, maintaining quality control and attention to detail.
* Carry out ordering duties as required, liaising with suppliers and managing inventory levels.
* Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, safe, and tidy at all times, reporting any maintenance issues immediately to management.
Other responsibilities include:
* Ensuring accurate delivery intake of produce, monitoring stock levels and managing waste disposal.
* Maintaining effective communication with colleagues, providing support and guidance where needed.
* Fostering a positive working environment, promoting teamwork and respect among staff members.
