Responsibilities
Stat Perform is looking for a Senior Team Lead for the Rugby Data Operations department.
Your primary responsibility will be supervising collection operations and ensuring data is captured to the highest standard as timely and efficiently as possible.
You will manage a group of Team Leads and Senior Analysts, oversee their performance and job satisfaction, and own payroll delivery to Finance for part-time staff.
Supervise live & post data collection for Rugby Operations.
Problem-solve during live operations and implement process improvements.
Maintain focus on data quality and foster continuous improvement.
Consistently meet departmental KPIs.
Address client complaints promptly, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
Serve as a product expert inside Operations, understanding client workflows and recommending improvements.
Manage designated projects from start to finish, reporting progress to the Rugby Ops manager and keeping stakeholders informed.
Lead and develop direct reports, setting clear performance expectations and maintaining regular communication.
Coordinate coverage and headcount planning with the Workforce planner.
Track attrition, analyse trends, and execute strategies to keep annual attrition < 30%.
Own ISO ****:**** documentation, review the risk register, and ensure compliance by the Data Operations team.

Excellent communication within the team and to wider departments.
Familiarity and interest in Rugby.
Experience with Excel, Power BI, or SQL is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of major rugby competitions.
Experience in analysis or sports coding.
