Technical Process Engineer
The role is part of Abbott Ireland Diabetes Care Division based in Donegal Town, where the Technical Engineer supports Technical Support, primarily the STARS lab, and its engineering, validation, and maintenance activities.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute validation protocols for process and software validation activities.
2. Monitor manufacturing processes and provide engineering support as needed.
3. Maintain machines and manage spare parts inventory.
4. Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Effectively manage multiple responsibilities while adhering to project plans and timelines.
6. Provide technical information for non-conformance reports related to manufacturing process and software.
7. Manage various projects from inception to implementation.
8. Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Main Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems, with relevant experience.
3. Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
4. Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
5. Self-motivated with high accountability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
6. At least 3 years of manufacturing experience required.
