The Manufacturing Scientist I Value Assignment for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for all testing and laboratory activities required to support value assignment of controls and calibrators for the AU product line. Thispermanent position is part of the AU Technical Operations/Value Assignment Department located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be an on-site position. You will be a part of the Value Assignment Team and report to the Supervisor, Value Assignment responsible for value assignment of controls and calibrators for the AU product line. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Perform testing, tabulation, report generation and investigational work in relation to Value Assignment. Any other duties as outlined by the manager. Perform linearity pool production / stock control & maintenance, validation of excel templates and other technical data analysis Perform laboratory maintenance / Equipment calibration & maintenance. The essential requirements of the job include: Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent. Quality assurance, GMP/FDA/ISO regulations. Familiarity with handling chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, enzymes and laboratory equipment and analysers. Graduate entry or equivalent It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Clinical Chemistry or Immunology Reagent. Quality assurance, GMP / FDA / ISO regulations.
