Position Description The Billing & Licensing Team Lead is an integral position within ESB Telecoms Ltd., sitting within the Asset, Governance, Safety & Compliance Team. The role is responsible for leading a team accountable for billing, licensing and payments across fibre and tower assets, ensuring compliance, revenue protection and strong stakeholder engagement. This role is a fixed-term position and is being offered as maternity leave cover. The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for the role for the duration of the maternity leave period, in line with business requirements and company policy. Key Responsibilities The role will manage a team which processes customer billing & licencing and property related payments tosuppliers. Embed a culture of Customer Centricity in all business and customer interaction through relevant staff training and team skills matrix management. Developing and implementing process improvements across team and ensuring processes are in line with the strategic goals of the business. Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Overseeing and approving billing and licencing, ensuring compliance with Customer contract commercials. Management of Internal Control Framework, risk register & process review. Responsibility for overseeing all wayleave and rates payments along with managing relevant budget. Collation of ESBTs KPI's and present to SMT monthly. Experience and Qualifications Essential Minimum of 5-7 years experience with 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience Experience of working within a structured process driven environment. Possess numerical & data accuracy with the ability to collate information from diverse data inputs and convert into meaningful management KPI's Strong organisational capabilities with strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive & motivated with ability to work on own initiative Proficient in the use of MS Office & other IT systems. Ability to analyse existing processes and IT systems and instigate process improvement initiatives Knowledge of billing systems. Desirable Experience working with a mobile operator, tower provider, or in a role involving telecoms billing, licensing, asset / governance within a large organisation. Location This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry Smart Working at ESB is designed to make 'in-person' time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week.
