F&B Operations Manager
We are currently recruiting for an
Operations Manager
for our client in the Wexford area.
We are looking for a driven manager with experience in all aspects of hospitality operations and excellent knowledge of food & beverage.
The ideal candidate can lead a team and has experience in an Irish venue.
This position may suit a Venue Manager looking to advance their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets with staff and management while maintaining low operational costs, including labour, food, and beverage supplies.
Ensure staffing levels meet hotel standards and maintain operational excellence.
Implement company standards regarding suppliers, service quality, venue presentation, and customer service.
Conduct regular stock takes, monitor KPIs, GP, labour costs, and revenue; collaborate with the audit team to develop loss-prevention procedures.
Discuss HR issues with the HR Manager, providing follow-up in writing or email.
Ensure smooth service operations, hygiene standards, and customer contact as per the operations manager's guidelines.
Ensure compliance with fire, health, and safety regulations.
Oversee weekly staff training across departments.
Complete and approve departmental rosters, ensuring appropriate staffing ratios.
Perform random room checks and sign off on Room Service checklists with the Accommodation Manager.
Conduct monthly departmental audits and report findings to department managers.
Handle guest complaints professionally, implement corrective actions, and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have:

Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Excellent communication skills, with proficient spoken and written English.
Previous experience in revenue management, food & beverage, forecasting, and budgeting within an Irish property.
