Financial Analyst Location: Dublin (Hybrid - 2 days onsite) Salary: DOE Reporting to the Senior Finance Transformation Manager, the Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Finance team, working across a wide range of projects and assignments. The role focuses on delivering high-quality decision support and analysis to the business, while also ensuring that financial controls and governance processes operate effectively. Key Responsibilities Support the Finance team in operating, improving, and automating controls over financial transactions and data. Assist in the preparation of financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Take ownership of key financial controls, systems, processes, and data, developing into a subject matter expert for business queries over time. Contribute to Finance-led projects and wider business change initiatives, including the implementation of new accounting standards, regulations, products, and systems. Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve processes and enable skills transfer within the team. Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Senior Finance Transformation Manager. Education & Experience Third-level degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. Skills & Experience Self-starter with the drive to use technology to improve processes and solve problems independently. Strong team player with a proven ability to collaborate to achieve shared objectives. Ambitious, self-aware, and motivated to grow into increased responsibility over time. Effective planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced Excel skills (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros). Experience using SQL for data manipulation and reporting. Familiarity with reporting and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
