Commercial Quality Specialist, QMS/DC – IrelandLocation: Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland | Job Function: QualityJob OverviewThe Commercial Quality Specialist, QMS/DC – Ireland supports quality management system (QMS) and distribution center (DC) quality activities for commercial operations in Ireland. This role helps ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality system standards, and internal procedures across warehousing, distribution, and post‑market activities. The position plays an important role in safeguarding patient safety, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting reliable supply to customers by partnering closely with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport commercial quality activities related to QMS and distribution center operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of QMS processes applicable to commercial and DC activities.Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to support compliant warehousing, distribution, and logistics activities.Support post‑market surveillance activities, including complaint handling, investigations, and field action support as required.Participate in internal audits, external audits, and health authority inspections related to QMS and DC operations.Monitor quality issues, trends, and metrics related to distribution and commercial activities and support corrective and preventive actions.Ensure accurate maintenance of quality records, documentation, and reports.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality compliance and operational effectiveness.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, or a related discipline (required).Advanced degree in a scientific, quality, or regulatory field (preferred).Experience and SkillsTypically 2‑4 years of experience in Quality, Regulatory, or Compliance roles within a regulated industry.Experience supporting QMS processes and/or distribution center quality activities.Foundational understanding of quality system requirements and regulatory expectations for commercial operations.Experience supporting audits, inspections, or regulatory assessments.Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries (preferred).Familiarity with EU MDR and Irish regulatory and quality requirements (preferred).Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization (preferred).Exposure to health authority or notified body inspections (preferred).Quality or Regulatory certifications (e.g., ASQ, RAC) (preferred).Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.Travel and CertificationsTravel: Limited; occasional domestic travel within Ireland.Certifications: Quality or Regulatory certifications preferred but not required.Compensation & BenefitsBase pay range: €52,400.00 - €82,915.00.Benefits include an annual bonus, vacation days, parental leave (minimum 12 weeks), bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, wellbeing reimbursement, financial, physical and mental health programs, service anniversary and recognition awards, and various insurance plans.Equal Employment OpportunityJohnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
