The School Secretary is a vital position that plays a key role in supporting the Principal, staff, and students at their educational institution. This position requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Main Responsibilities:
* Reception & Front Office: Greet visitors, manage inquiries, and oversee visitor registration.
* Communication & Correspondence: Draft letters, memos, minutes, and routine correspondence.
* Student Administration: Maintain student records, record attendance, and prepare class lists.
* Staff & HR Administration: Manage staff work hours, administer contracts, and support interview processes.
* Data & Compliance: Ensure GDPR compliance in file management and archiving.
* Office Management & Technology: Maintain a tidy office area, operate office equipment, and test new technologies.
* Financial & Resource Management: Manage petty cash, place orders, and record inventory.
