We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to manage day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks across our Cork City Centre hospitality complex, which includes The Flying Enterprise, The Courtyard, and associated areas. The ideal candidate will have a practical background in general maintenance, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond quickly to issues in a busy operational environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the premises (bar, restaurant, outdoor areas, storage, etc.).Perform routine inspections of buildings, fixtures, lighting, and equipment.Handle basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting tasks as needed.Maintain outdoor areas, cleaning, minor landscaping & signage upkeep.Support the management team during refurbishments or upgrades.Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management or staff.Oversee external contractors and ensure safe work practices on-site.Ensure all maintenance work complies with health & safety standards.Keep accurate records of maintenance work and schedules.RequirementsPrevious experience in a similar role (hospitality, facilities, or property maintenance).Strong hands-on skills in general repairs, painting, plumbing, or carpentry.Good understanding of health, safety, and compliance.Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.Physically fit and comfortable working at height or outdoors when required.Flexible and reliable, available for occasional emergency call-outs.Full clean driver's licence an advantage but not essential.What We OfferCompetitive pay based on experience.Staff meals on duty & staff discounts.Steady, long-term role within a growing hospitality group.Varied and rewarding work environment.Central Cork City location.Job Type: Part-timePay: €13.50 per hourWork Location: In person
