They're now seeking a Finance Manager to lead their day-to-day financial operations and support strategic planning within a close-knit, office-based team.
Location: Dublin
With an early start and early finish (Monday–Thursday: 8am–4:30pm, Friday: 8am–4pm), this role offers a great work-life balance – especially for someone who enjoys working on-site in a collaborative environment.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day finance, reporting, compliance, and supporting external accountants and auditors.
1. Oversee ledger management and supplier/subcontractor accounts
2. Prepare monthly accounts: accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, intercompany charges
3. Manage VAT, PAYE, and RCT returns
4. Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and Revenue
5. Support project costing, budgeting, and forecasting (incl. cash flow management)
6. Assist with year-end processes: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
7. Ensure accuracy of records and resolve discrepancies
8. Collaborate with site and office teams across departments
What we're looking for
9. Qualified Accounting Technician or part-/fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, or equivalent experience
10. At least 3 years' experience in a similar finance role in Ireland
11. Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 (essential)
12. Experience with BrightPay is a plus
13. Comfortable with Irish Revenue systems and compliance
14. Strong Excel and IT skills
15. Highly organised, detail-focused, and self-motivated
