Job Purpose
The Marketing & Events Executive will play a key role in supporting the Food & Beverage Marketing team at The Dean Group. This hands-on role blends creativity with organisation, helping to deliver events, brand activations, and marketing campaigns across restaurants, bars, and rooftops within the portfolio. Working closely with the Head of F&B Marketing, the Marketing & Events Executive will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing high-quality events while also contributing to social media, content creation, and reporting. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about hospitality, food, and culture, and eager to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities
Event Coordination
* Assist in planning and coordinating a range of events including dinners, ticketed activations, music nights, and brand collaborations.
* Manage and oversee event run sheets, sourcing vendors, and maintaining timelines and checklists.
* Liaise with venue managers and F&B teams to ensure seamless event execution.
* Organise and manage event assets, assisting in creation when required.
Ticketing & Guest Management
* Set up and manage ticketing pages and guest lists via platforms such as Eventbrite, OpenTable Experiences, or similar.
* Coordinate guest communications pre- and post-event, including confirmations, event information, and follow-ups under the guidance of the Head of F&B Marketing.
Creative & Styling Support
* Brainstorm event concepts and assist in sourcing decor, props, and styling elements.
* Support venue teams in creating visually compelling event spaces aligned with brand identity.
Social Media & Content Support
* Assist in briefing and updating social media contractors managing F&B content strategies.
* Contribute to content plans and posting calendars for select brands within the portfolio.
* Capture iPhone content for ad hoc campaigns and assist with photoshoots.
* Manage and maintain the F&B content library.
Budget & Marketing Administration
* Obtain quotes, process invoices, and support budget management for events.
* Assist with event and campaign reports for the Head of F&B Marketing.
* Maintain and update a shared calendar of upcoming events across venues.
Team Collaboration
* Work closely with the F&B Marketing team on event promotion timelines and marketing requirements.
* Provide on-site support at select major events and activations.
* Assist in communication with external suppliers, entertainers, and partners.
Preferred Experience & Skills
* 1-2 years' experience in a marketing or events role, preferably within hospitality or F&B brands.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
* Creative mindset with attention to visual details and guest experience.
* Basic understanding of event logistics and project management.
* Experience with ticketing platforms and digital event tools is an advantage.
* Energetic, resourceful, and solutions-focused.
* Availability to attend select major events during evenings and weekends.
