Overview A leading FMCG manufacturer in North West Dublin is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their expanding engineering team.
Working Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, you'll support a busy automated production environment, carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance to keep high-speed equipment running to optimum performance.
Responsibilities Execute planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site utilities.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
Support production teams to minimise downtime and maximise output.
Carry out electro-mechanical repairs on PLC-controlled systems.
Record maintenance activities, update equipment records and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical problems.
Contribute to cost-reduction and energy-saving projects.
Criteria Senior Trade Qualification or relevant engineering diploma.
Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within food or high-volume manufacturing.
Strong mechanical and electrical skillset, including PLC fault finding.
Ability to read electrical schematics and work effectively on own initiative.
Experience with maintenance systems/software is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
Reward Salary €48,000 - €55,000 (DOE).
Monday-Friday daytime hours (8am-4:30pm).
Growing maintenance team (currently 4, expanding to 5).
Onsite parking & pension available.
