Finance Commercial Development Manager
My client is a leading provider in the automotive financial services sector, delivering innovative car finance, leasing, and servicing solutions through a wide network of partners and dealers. They are recognized for supporting market-leading automotive brands with tailored financial products across Ireland.
They are seeking a Commercial Development Manager to join their team, responsible for managing and growing commercial partnerships with key automotive manufacturers. Reporting to the Brand & Planning Manager, this role focuses on strategically aligning product offerings and commercial activities with partner objectives to enhance brand positioning, market presence, and business growth.
The role combines strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring the company’s finance, leasing, and aftersales services are effectively positioned to maximize opportunities and support partner sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with automotive manufacturer partners and senior management to support brand objectives.
*
Prepare and coordinate operational and strategic meetings, ensuring alignment on joint commercial goals and initiatives.
*
Understand partner business and brand goals, creating clear, targeted plans to drive sales volume and financial performance.
*
Identify, develop, and implement collaborative commercial initiatives and programs that benefit both the company and its automotive brands.
*
Analyse sales and performance data to monitor progress and recommend opportunities for commercial growth.
*
Lead customer retention and loyalty strategies focused on contract renewals and enhancing brand-related customer satisfaction.
*
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product, and sales to ensure commercial activities support partner brand strategies.
Key Role Requirements:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Strategy, Economics, or related discipline.
*
At least 5 years of commercial or financial experience within the automotive or financial services industries.
*
Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence and deliver commercial outcomes aligned to brand and business goals.
*
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and commercial reporting.
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within defined timelines.
*
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Fluent English, both written and spoken.
