Health and Safety Officer CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Health and safety Officer (E01 Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract, with possibility of extension. *Pay Rate - £16.45 per/hr *Location DAERA, Health and Safety Coordination Branch *Benefits 37 days holiday per annum *Hours 37 hours per week Responsibilities will include: *Providing H&S advice and guidance to staff and senior management. *Reviewing incidents, risk assessments etc *Obtaining equipment, training and PPE quotes. *Drafting intranet comms, drafting email advice, reviewing policies, carrying out H&S inspections / audits and attending site visits. Essential Experience/Qualifications *The Nebosh General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety AND *A full current driving licence enabling the licence holder to drive vehicles in Northern Ireland and access to a form of transport. Relevant or Equivalent Qualifications Applications will also be considered from applicants with relevant formal qualifications considered to be of an equivalent or higher standard to those stated.
