Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our inpatient specialist neuropsychiatric service. As a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric services to patients while ensuring regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will work closely with existing general adult and psychiatry of Later Life services to provide mental health services for adults with severe and enduring mental illness and complex needs.
* Overall responsibility for providing psychiatric services to patients and residents while ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Supporting the development of Clinical Governance and assisting in implementing strategic plans for our service.
* Leading and developing a multidisciplinary clinical team in the inpatient specialist neuropsychiatric service.
* Providing clinical services within a legally compliant framework.
* Efficiently delivering clinical services.
* Offering teaching, research, and academic support at a senior level, developed with colleagues in associated educational facilities.
* Overlapping care responsibilities and cross-covering for leave.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
