MAINTENANCE TECHNICANWe are looking for a Maintenance technician to join our team. The role will provide technical support for manufacturing operations at our Cork site in Bandon, Co Cork.We are looking for a person with good technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills.Job Type: Full-time positionResponsibilitiesEnsure all engineering activities are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and always encourages safe working practices.Work continuously to ensure that all scheduled engineering maintenance tasks are actioned.Diagnose and repair any faults or failures in a timely manner.Identify and implement continuous improvement activities for existing equipment and manufacturing processes.Ensure all relevant documentations and records are kept up to date, as required.Must liaise with external contractors 'OEM'S' and suppliers.Identify, source, and manage, parts and components crucial to machine maintenance and repairsKey Skills and QualificationsA self-motivated hard worker who will work well as part of a team.Previous experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is desirable.Must have a hands on approach to machine repair and have a proven record in the dismantling, repair, and reassembly, of mechanical components.Must have a good analytical approach to problem solving.Experience in diagnostics and repair of pneumatic, and electrical systems and the ability to interpret drawings for the same would be preferred.Relevant engineering qualifications in an electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic discipline would be an advantage.Must have ability to time manage and prioritise tasks.Must be able to work and communicate well with co-workers and management daily.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
