Main Purpose of the Job:
We're looking for a hardworking, reliable person to join our team. The role involves a mix of store room and shop floor duties, from helping customers and working on the tills to doing hands-on jobs behind the scenes like compacting rubbish, moving stock, and keeping the back area tidy.
You'll play an important part in keeping the store running smoothly, whether that's helping a customer at the checkout, stacking shelves, or making sure the store room stays clean and organised.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
What You'll Be Doing:
· Helping customers and providing friendly, helpful service;
· Working on the tills and handling transactions accurately;
· Keeping the shop floor clean, tidy, and well stocked;
· Unloading deliveries and organising stock in the storeroom;
· Doing manual labour tasks such as lifting, moving boxes, and compacting trash;
· Making sure waste is properly sorted and disposed of safely;
· Following health and safety procedures at all times;
· Supporting your teammates wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
· Someone with a good attitude and a strong work ethic;
· Comfortable doing physical work and using basic equipment like compactors;
· Friendly, approachable, and a team player;
· Reliable and able to work at a steady pace;
· Good communication skills and attention to detail;
· Previous retail or storeroom experience is helpful but not essential.
