Land Surveyor
Job Location: Donegal
Sector: Civil
INFORM3 are recruiting a Land Surveyor for civil works on renewables/civils projects in Donegal.
They are seeking engineers who have previous setting out experience with a GPS and Total Station and mapping experience, who are competent in Carlson and AutoCAD software.
Land Surveyor Responsibilities:
* Report into Site Management
* Liaise with Site Staff and Management
* Read and be familiar with Site Drawings and Specifications
* Conduct surveys using GPS, Total Station and Levelling equipment
* Complete site mark-ups
* Compile reports from the surveys and convert them into 2D and 3D formats
* Manage contracts ensuring they met with client requirements
* Investigate into any structural or technical problems / issues
* Ensure surveying equipment is maintained to the highest standard
* Attend client meetings, responding to any technical queries
* Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and the company’s policies regarding quality
* Prepare reports for the Client
* Provide regular updates to Management
Land Surveyor Specification:
* Civil Engineer or Surveyor Degree / Qualification
* 2 years+ experience in a similar position
* Experience in conducting surveys
* Self-Starter
* Able to work to deadlines and targets
* Ability to work off their own initiative
* Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
* Experience in the Microsoft Office Package
* Full driving licence
