As my client scales production to meet growing customer demand, they are seeking a meticulous Supply Chain Coordinator & Demand Planner.
Acting as the "nerve centre" of the operation, this role ensures material availability and planning accuracy, guaranteeing that customer orders are delivered On Time In Full (OTIF).
Key Responsibilities: Demand & Production Planning: Develop and maintain planning tools to translate sales forecasts into realistic weekly and monthly production schedules.
Procurement: Oversee end-to-end sourcing of raw materials and packaging, ensuring continuity of supply while optimising working capital.
Logistics & 3PL Management: Manage relationships with external 3PL partners, including dispatch scheduling and stock reconciliation.
Service Performance: Lead OTIF performance initiatives, investigating delays, identifying root causes, and implementing recovery plans.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory exposure, manage rework prioritization, and minimise waste and expiry risks.
The Ideal Candidate: Experience: Proven track record in supply chain planning or coordination within the food manufacturing sector.
Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; SAP Business One experience is a significant advantage.
Capability: Highly organised, able to thrive under pressure, and adept at managing changing priorities.
Communication: Exceptional cross-functional collaborator, able to drive actions between Production, QA, and external partners.
