Junior Quantity Surveyor
Description:
We are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will provide commercial and contractual administration support to the Senior QS and/or Commercial Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertaking internal valuations and production of cost reports
* Supporting the management of applicable subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
* Responding to and resolving enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments (including monthly accruals) in a professional and timely manner
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Trade Qualification or similar
* 1- 3 years postgraduate experience in the construction sector
* Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
* Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings
* Good communication skills and high computer literacy
* Full license and own reliable transport
