We are seeking a reliable and professional individual to join our pharmacy security and logistics team in a dual role encompassing security & logistics management. As part of the pharmacy security and logistics team you will split your time between in-store security and logistics (delivering medicines and maintaining the store room). If you are organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent driving skills, we encourage you to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Duties:Proactive Theft Prevention: Actively monitor store traffic to deter theft and ensure compliance with store policies. Maintain a visible presence to promote a safe and secure environment.Incident Management: Respond promptly to security breaches or incidents, ensuring proper documentation and escalation to management when necessary.Collaboration: Work closely with store management to develop strategies for reducing shrinkage and maintaining a secure and theft-free environment.Medication Delivery:Handle and deliver medications with care and confidentiality.Ensure timely and secure transportation to designated locations.Storeroom Management:Organise and manage inventory within the storeroom.RequirementsEssential:A valid, clean driving license.At least 1 year of driving experience.Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.Ability to commute reliably to Ballyfermot or plan to relocate prior to starting.Flexibility to work at least one weekend per month.Desirable:A valid PSA security license (training can be provided for the right candidate).Personal Attributes:Highly dependable, with a strong work ethic.Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive materials.Working ConditionsHours:2/3 shifts per week, each shift lasting 7 to 12 hours.The role has flexibility for team members to arrange cover for shifts with other team members.Salary:Competitive hourly rate, reflecting the experience and responsibilities of the role.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €15.00 per hourExpected hours: 24 – 36 per weekBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
