We are seeking a highly skilled Parts Advisor to join our team at a busy HGV service depot in Santry.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you will be responsible for managing parts supply, stock control and systems administration. You will play a key role in supporting workshop repairs by delivering parts on time and ensuring that all records are up to date.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the motor trade, preferably with a background in truck or trailer maintenance. Strong parts knowledge and stock management skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick, plan and deliver parts for workshop jobs
* Liaise with technicians and suppliers daily
* Manage stock, deliveries and returns
* Keep records updated (job cards, pricing, warranty)
* Support the front counter and phone queries when needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Motor trade experience - truck/trailer/HGV background ideal
* Strong parts knowledge and stock management skills
* Computer literate (Excel, Outlook, stock/order systems)
* Organised, detail-focused and able to work under pressure
* Forklift licence is a bonus
