We are currently recruiting for a full time Financial Controller on behalf of our Munster based client.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering timely Financial Reporting and Control requirements for the group's trading entities.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Tralee.
The Roles involve: Taking responsibility for ensuring all weekly/monthly/quarterly & annual period close activities are carried in accordance with company procedures and in a timely manner Managing, developing the existing finance team Overseeing the monthly accounts payable process ensuring strict adherence to agreed company reconciliation and payment policies.
Ensuring the finance team accurately codes all resale and expense invoices to ensure meaningful gross margin analysis can be completed.
Maintaining governance over all bank and cash transactions.
Help the finance team to procedure accurate financial statements inclusive of detailed gross margin analysis, P&L and BS.
Take responsibility for the key accounting adjustments during quarterly close.
Be a liaison for the group with a wide-ranging list of external parties e.g.
suppliers/insurers/auditors/tenants/debtors etc.
Revenue reporting responsibility for all VAT returns Oversee group inter-company transactions to ensure recorded appropriately Maintain up to date KPI's on various expense headings across the group Working closely with P&L owners to ensure all accounting issues are communicated on a timely basis.
