Blanco Niño is a rapidly growing, award-winning, premium Mexican food brand known for exceptional quality, traditional cooking methods and its advocacy of regenerative farming practices.
The company's mission is
to produce Mexican food products that make us proud and accelerate the transition to regenerative farming in the process.
The role mission is
to generate robust, reliable production data that underpins product quality, supports process improvement and drives future innovation. The intent of which is to ensure new and existing products can be delivered to an exceptional standard, consistently, at scale
.
All of our production takes place at our factory in Clonmel, Ireland, which sits at the heart of the business and plays a critical role in delivering the quality and consistency we're known for. As we continue to grow, we're focused on raising the bar even higher: developing best-in-class manufacturing processes, investing in smart automation, and building a factory that's set up to scale for the future without compromising on quality.
The business sells a foodservice (B2B) offering across 19 European markets and the Middle East, and a retail (B2B + B2C) offering across 5 European markets. The major focus markets are the UK and Ireland for retail, with significant opportunity across the European continent for further expansion through our existing distribution network.
After a year of incredible progress, including launches into Co-op, Sainsbury's and Waitrose, we're continuing to expand our reach and impact.
The Opportunity:
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-driven individual to run testing on our factory production line, playing a critical role in achieving and maintaining the quality and consistency of our products. This is a practical, factory-based role for someone who enjoys precision, working with data and testing equipment, and understands that consistency is what turns great ingredients into a truly great product.
This role is central to how we continue to raise the bar at Blanco Niño. A key focus will be running structured testing on our production line, accurately measuring and recording data to help us achieve and maintain our desired quality. Getting this right is critical to the quality, texture and performance of our products — and to ensuring that every batch lives up to the standards we set for ourselves.
You'll work closely with our operations and technical teams, supporting trials and generating insights that inform real decisions on the factory floor. This is applied, practical work, where attention to detail and reliability matter, and where small improvements can have a big impact on consistency at scale.
The role also plays into our ambition to keep innovating. As we develop new products and refine existing ones, robust testing and a deep understanding of our processes are essential. You'll be part of that journey, helping ensure that new ideas translate into products we're proud to put our name to.
You'll be based primarily at our factory, working as part of a close-knit team that cares deeply about quality, craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Your work will help ensure Blanco Niño delivers outstanding products, day in, day out — now and as we continue to grow.
What You'll be Doing:
Production Testing & Measurement
* Run regular, structured testing on our production line.
* Accurately record data, observations and results, ensuring information is reliable, repeatable and easy to interpret.
* Use testing equipment correctly and consistently to support day-to-day quality control and longer-term process understanding.
Quality & Consistency
* Support our commitment to exceptional product quality by helping ensure consistency across batches and production runs.
* Identify patterns, variances and anomalies in test results, flagging issues early and contributing to continuous improvement.
* Help translate testing outcomes into practical insights that improve texture, performance and overall product experience.
Trials & New Product Support
* Support production trials, process tweaks and experimentation as we refine existing products and develop new ones.
* Capture and document learnings from trials clearly, helping the wider team understand what worked, what didn't and why.
* Play a hands-on role in ensuring new ideas can be delivered to the same high quality standards at scale.
Who You Are
We're being upfront:
the right person for this role is as much about mindset as it is about skills.
You might recognise yourself in these traits:
* You're detail-oriented and take pride in getting things right.
* You enjoy working hands-on and understand the importance of discipline and consistency in a production environment.
* You're curious by nature and like understanding why things behave the way they do.
* You're dependable, organised and comfortable working with numbers, data and processes.
* You care deeply about quality and take satisfaction in contributing to an exceptional end product.
Ideal Experience
This role will suit someone who enjoys structured, practical work and learning through doing.
You must have:
* Experience (academic, placement or practical) working with data, measurements or testing processes.
* Confidence using equipment, following protocols and recording results accurately.
* A methodical approach and strong attention to detail.
* Comfort working in a factory or operational environment.
It would be a big plus if you also have:
* Experience in food manufacturing, food science, engineering or process-led environments.
* Exposure to quality control, production testing or process optimisation.
* An interest in how products move from idea to large-scale production.
Why Join Us
