Job Description:
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Part/Nearly Qualified Actuary to join a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services as a Senior Non-life Consultant – Risk Consulting. This position is based in Dublin City Centre. This position would suit a highly motivated part/nearly qualified actuary with experience ideally in a non-life /reinsurance or consultancy position. Previous experience in the following is advantageous, IFRS 17, Solvency II and Reserving.
About the Senior Non-life Consultant – Risk Consulting role
Duties for this role include (but are not limited to):
* Develop core technical non-life actuarial skills working as part of our non-life team working on a range of client engagements.
* Develop their network through working on multi-disciplinary projects across a range of different service lines.
* Promote learning across the project team and department while as well as being confident and credible in taking the lead in both client interactions and with more junior colleagues.
Actuarial Skills required
Our client is looking to find a Part/ Nearly Qualified Actuary with 3 years relevant experience in a non-life role. Candidates must ideally have experience of the following:
* Excellent technical skills with an awareness of the challenges facing the non- life insurance industry.
* Disciplined with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong written, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Capable of confidently and professionally dealing with clients.
