We’re seeking a few skilled Automation Technicians. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced production environment. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automation and control systems that keep our advanced manufacturing processes running at peak performance. This position operates on a 4‑cycle shift system.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, and control systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC‑controlled systems.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Support commissioning and integration of new automation systems, including programming adjustments.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams during new product introductions and process improvements.
Partner with equipment suppliers and contractors during installation, testing, and validation phases.
Accurately document all maintenance activities per company and regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements, including ISO 13485 and ISO 14001.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance.
What We’re Looking For
Qualification in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related engineering discipline (minimum Level 6).
1+ years’ experience working with automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
Solid knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar), robotics, sensors, and vision systems.
Skilled in reading electrical/mechanical schematics and diagnosing faults on complex systems.
Familiarity with preventative maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Competent with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
Willingness to work on a 4‑cycle shift rotation.
