The Duty Manager role is a key position in our hotel operations, responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide a warm and genuine welcome to all guests, maintaining a high level of courtesy and friendliness from arrival to departure.
* To empower employees to make on-the-spot decisions that promote guest satisfaction, fostering a culture of proactive service delivery.
* To handle guest queries promptly and efficiently, utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively.
* To maintain up-to-date guest profiles, ensuring accurate information is available at all times.
* To carry out Duty Management shifts as required, adhering to agreed hotel procedures.
* To complete duty management shift checklists and Vibe checklists diligently, ensuring seamless operations.
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a visible presence in the lobby during peak periods, lunchtimes, and banqueting areas during peak tea/coffee times.
Requirements
* Prior experience in hospitality, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a customer-centric approach.
* Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Familiarity with hotel operations and policies, with a commitment to upholding our brand standards.
