Job Overview
This is a 12-month contractor position for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional. If you are interested in gathering data, ensuring a strong site safety culture, and contributing to the success of our organization, then this is the ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions: Gather relevant data, create dashboards, and extract information from EHS systems or SAP platforms to drive process improvements.
* Metrics and Dashboards: Develop and maintain weekly reports, perform trending analysis, and provide EHS updates and metrics to support site communications and strategic decision-making.
* Documentation Updates: Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), procedures, and other documentation as required to support the EHS and Engineering Teams, submit documents on the site documentation control system, and track approvals.
* Near Miss Reports: Generate weekly and trending reports of the site Near Miss system and provide local department dashboard data and update heat maps to inform risk management strategies.
* Governance Updates: Coordinate completion inputs for local, regional, and global governance forums, follow up on actions, and record meeting minutes to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Health & Safety, or equivalent qualification.
* 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of delivering results and driving business value.
* Ideal experience working in an EHS department, but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success.
