This role offers the chance to be part of Ireland's first attempt to eradicate American Mink from a designated area.
The Pilot Programme will utilize Citizen Science to deliver a structured and coordinated trapping network, aimed at eradicating Mink over 3.5 years.
* Eradication of Mink from a designated area.
* Coordination of a volunteer network.
* Data collection.
Detailed professional reporting on the project as required by statutory authorities.
The employee will work from offices in Mountmellick and Moate regularly.
Remote working is permitted, as agreed with the relevant authority.
The candidate must have their own transport, a full driving licence, and their vehicle must be insured for business use.
Job Requirements
This is a contract role for 3.5 years.
As Programme Coordinator, you will work closely with management and stakeholders to understand programme scope, objectives, and outputs.
* Coodinating day-to-day running of the programme.
* Pursuing advancement of agreed objectives through establishing good delivery mechanisms.
* Collaboration and engagement with employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
Data recording and detailed reporting on methodology used and results achieved will be key outputs.
You will be responsible for ensuring programme delivery meets high standards.
