Job Objectives
We are seeking applications for the role of Senior Social Worker. The role will suit experienced candidates who wish to progress in their careers in a progressive organisation and are deemed suitably qualified, skilled within a similar healthcare setting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilitiesh3>
* Familiarise with and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
* Use company IT systems as instructed and maintain password confidentiality.
* Help people with mental health conditions live more successful lives.
* Work as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to assist each patient.
* Understand the unique challenges of those you work with and provide necessary assistance.
* Collaboratively conduct initial assessments, individual sessions, and group sessions.
* Analyse living conditions and identify concerns or areas for improvement.
* Compile findings and analysis into reports for team use.
* Help patients make sense of their situations, constructively challenge them to think, and assist them in setting achievable goals to improve their lives.
* Work within legal frameworks (e.g., Mental Health Act 2001) and undertook continuing professional development as appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualification
* Recognised qualification as a Social Worker with CORU registration.
Experience
* Three years minimum experience within a similar social care setting.
