New Ross Credit Union Ltd, is a financial cooperative with over €151m in Total Assets, with over 29,000 members. We pride ourselves on offering quality financial services to members across Wexford. The Board of Directors of New Ross Credit Union is made up of volunteers who have the skills and knowledge to help develop and govern the credit union and we are looking to expand our panel of potential volunteers.
As a multi-branch and online credit union we like to have representation from all areas of our common bond, New Ross, Bunclody and Ramsgrange.
We would welcome any interested party to contact us
but would particularly like to hear from members across our bond area not just urban areas.
Our Board is made up of people with a variety of skill sets, who wish to represent their community in a not-for-profit organisation. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with financial experience, HR, IT and marketing experience.
There are many reasons to volunteer for your credit union but none more important than the satisfaction than having a voice in determining how your Credit Union can provide quality financial services.
Volunteering with a credit union is both rewarding and challenging. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:
* Build valuable skills and gain experience with a professional financial services organisation
* Strengthen your personal growth and development
* Expand your knowledge and life skills
* Connect with like-minded people in your community
