Clinical Diabetes Specialist Role
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical nurse specialist to fill this crucial position.
* Provide expert nursing services for patients with diabetes who require support and treatment through the continuum of care.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments incorporating physical, psychological, social, and spiritual elements of care using best evidence-based practice in diabetes care.
* Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and patients, families, and/or carers as appropriate.
* Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and revise care plans accordingly in conjunction with the MDT and patient, family, and/or carer as necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year's post-registration experience and relevant specialist expertise. They should also demonstrate ongoing professional development relevant to their area of specialization.
* A registered nurse/midwife on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives or eligibility for registration.
* A minimum of 1 year's post-registration full-time experience or equivalent aggregate time within the specified register division.
* At least 1 year's experience or an equivalent aggregate full-time experience in the specialist area.
