We're currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager on behalf of one of Ireland's leading main contractors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Management
Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project from pre-start to handover.
Manage all aspects of the project including planning, health & safety, design, procurement, construction operations, quality, and handover.
Schedule and manage the project programme using planning software, ensuring adequate resources are available to meet key milestones.
Monitor and update the programme on a weekly basis, highlighting risks early and implementing mitigation measures.
Prepare monthly progress reports covering programme, quality, health & safety, and finance for stakeholders.
Develop and maintain a procurement schedule aligned with the target programme.
Occasionally assist the estimating team with tender programmes and construction methodologies.
Health & Safety
Ensure full compliance with all health & safety legislation and company procedures.
Promote a strong health & safety culture on site and lead by example.
Assist in the preparation and regular updating of the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
Chair regular subcontractor health & safety meetings and ensure all actions from audits and inspections are closed out.
Quality Assurance
Implement and manage the company's Quality Assurance system on site.
Chair weekly QA meetings and ensure high standards of workmanship are maintained.
Carry out regular inspections and maintain detailed records of all works.
Review subcontractor and supplier quality at source where required.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Effectively lead and mentor the project team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Chair weekly site meetings and ensure accurate minutes and actions are recorded.
Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning software (MS Project).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
Proven experience managing multi-million-euro construction projects.
A proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative approach.
