Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are excited to present an opportunity to join a well-established food packaging company in County Meath.
This is an excellent chance for someone with strong electrical maintenance experience to make a significant impact in a growing and innovative company within the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct electrical maintenance on food packaging machinery and production lines.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults to ensure minimal downtime in production.
* Perform preventative maintenance and ensure all machinery operates efficiently.
* Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations.
* Work on electrical control systems, motors, drives, and PLC systems.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist in reporting on machinery performance.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, preferably within the food manufacturing or packaging industry.
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills and knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
* Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
* Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (QQI Level 6, 18th edition or similar).
* Previous experience in the food industry or packaging sector is an advantage.
