Job Title – Site Engineer/ Setting out Engineer
Project – Residential, Commercial & Industrial Projects
Job Location – Cork
Salary – €45K - €65K
About the Company
Experienced Site Engineers required for a number of positions in Cork City and surrounding areas. Projects include office blocks, distribution warehouses and apartment blocks.
The Role
* Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
* Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard.
* Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
* Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
* A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an engineering role.
* Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination and using a total station.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
