Role Overview
A leading Irish main contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects across the Leinster region, with current opportunities based around Kildare and Malahide.
This role would suit someone living outside the M50 or looking for projects closer to North Dublin, Meath, Kildare, or surrounding commuter locations.

Commercial and mixed-use developments
The successful candidate will oversee approximately 1–3 live projects simultaneously, ensuring programme delivery, operational performance, quality, safety, and commercial targets are achieved across all sites.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Operational Leadership
Oversee the delivery of multiple live projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
Manage and support Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractor teams.
Drive programme performance and ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
Programme & Delivery Management
Review and monitor construction programmes across projects.
Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies where required.
Commercial Oversight
Work closely with commercial teams to monitor budgets, variations, procurement, and project financial performance.
Support value engineering initiatives while maintaining quality and programme targets.
Ensure strong commercial governance across all live projects.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with Building Regulations, BCAR requirements, and company quality standards.
Oversee inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
Maintain high-quality delivery standards across all phases of construction.
Health & Safety
Champion a strong health & safety culture across all projects.
Ensure compliance with company systems, legislation, and best practice site management procedures.
Support EHS teams and site management in maintaining safe working environments.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and utility providers.
Attend senior progress and commercial meetings.
Provide clear reporting and updates to senior leadership.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
10–20+ years’ experience within construction delivery roles.
Background with a Tier 1 / Tier 2 main contractor preferred.
Experience managing multiple projects or large multi-phase developments simultaneously.
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing and operational delivery.
Experience with apartment construction, façade coordination, programme management, and subcontractor coordination.
Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and BCAR compliance.
Leadership
Strong people management and operational leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple site teams and maintain programme performance.
Commercially aware with strong reporting and communication capability.
Qualifications
Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
