Description
The IT Service Manager will lead the ITIL Service Management capabilities for Service Design, Introduction, and Transition. They will champion ITIL control processes for Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Configuration Management to ensure successful outcomes that support corporate and operational objectives, with effective IT governance and controls.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and managing the service delivery improvement plan, managing risks and issues.
Minimum Requirements
* Deep experience in ITIL concepts and methodology
* Ability to stay updated with current and emerging technologies and apply them appropriately
* Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in the IT field
* ITIL v3 and/or v4 intermediate level certifications (a plus)
* Experience with project management methodologies like Prince2 and Lean
* Equivalent work experience combined with at least 8+ years relevant experience in enterprise environments and consulting
* In-depth understanding of Service Design & Transition, Major Incident Management, Problem, Change & Release Management, Disaster Recovery, and Continual Service Improvement
* Experience with GLPI, ServiceNow, or similar tooling (advantageous)
Roles and Responsibilities
* Lead service reviews with business stakeholders and key suppliers
* Create and manage the service delivery improvement plan, managing priorities, risks, and issues
* Design and support Problem Management processes, ensuring root cause analysis and actions are completed efficiently
* Ensure effective and efficient CAB meetings
* Adhere to risk management policies, including incident reporting
* Define and review service metrics, KPIs, and generate quality reports
* Drive continual service improvement
* Develop relationships with key stakeholders
* Provide application support and develop reports, workflows, and queries within enterprise service management tools
* Support and maintain service management software and IT configuration databases
* Participate in audits such as DORA, ISO 27001, and internal IT audits
* Develop service dependency maps
* Support operational processes through automation tools
