Position Summary: Foster a culture of automation, innovation and continuous improvement for the Neurovascular product portfolio.
What you will do:
Define equipment functional requirements and lead design, testing and integration.
Develop and review specifications, bills of materials and SOPs.
Provide technical guidance to technicians and engineers.
Validate processes (IQ/PQ/OQ) and support documentation.
Prioritise improvement projects, lead root‑cause analysis and CI initiatives.
Support audits, CAPA, data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.
Requirements:
Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering competence.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in medical devices manufacturing.
Strong communication, influencing and project management skills.
Technical leadership and decision‑making ability.
Senior Engineer – Manufacturing (Tullagreen, Carrigtwohill)
Position Summary: Provide advanced technical and engineering support for manufacturing projects or functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor quality improvements and process validation.
Lead IPC, GMP, CAPA, risk analysis and statistical techniques.
Mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams.
Coordinate technology transfer, equipment qualification and process changes.
Maintain SOPs, work instructions and documentation.
Qualifications:
Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2–4 years’ experience in manufacturing.
Project management and communication capabilities.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Value Stream (Model Farm Road, Cork)
Position Overview: Develop, optimise and sustain manufacturing processes for advanced neurovascular medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, reliability and regulatory compliance.
Lead root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement (CI) projects.
Execute process and equipment changes, validation and change control.
Support validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and maintain validated state.
Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance and supply chain.
Lead data collection, performance analysis and reporting.
Support audits, CAPA closure and documentation updates.
Mentor technicians and operators.
Share best practices across Stryker Cork and global sites.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Biomedical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a regulated medical device or high‑volume precision assembly environment.
Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or similar preferred.
Experience with CAPA, PFMEA, risk analysis and troubleshooting.
Strong communication, influencing and cross‑functional skills.
Staff Manufacturing Engineer – Value Stream (Model Farm Road, Cork)
Position Overview: Similar responsibilities to the Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Value Stream but with a focus on leading the entire value stream.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications: Identical to the previous role, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience and a Green Belt or equivalent proficiency.

Position Summary: Lead significant engineering projects, manage validation activities and steer process improvements in advanced medical manufacturing.

Manage engineering projects through PMO.
Apply injection mould tooling knowledge.
Create verification and validation plans.

Job Description Summary: Support the implementation of engineering projects, including process improvement, equipment qualification and capacity expansion.
Responsibilities:
Assist project controls program (planning, cost control).

Facilitate claim/dispute resolution with suppliers.

Orthopaedic & Trauma – Position Summary (Cork)
Position Overview: Design and develop solutions for orthopaedic and trauma applications, leading technical execution across cross‑functional teams.
What you will do:
Design and implement complex concepts and systems.
Specialise in technology domains.
Support design selection and platform technologies.
Communicate with surgeon customers.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain and improve engineering methods.
Train and mentor on best practices.

What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in science (preferably Mechanical or Biomedical). Masters preferred.
