This is a Full-time position - 39 hours per weekResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement person-centred, effective care plans for residents and promptly communicate any changes in residents’ health status to the CNM/Assistant Care Manager.Work collaboratively with Health Care Assistants to prepare, develop, and deliver resident care plans.Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents, staff, and visitors at all times.Collaborate with residents and multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate continuity of care.Deliver nursing care in line with evidence-based practice using a person-centred approach.Contribute to social, recreational, and educational activities that promote a stimulating and supportive environment for residents.Participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing review of quality and safety management systems.Practice nursing in accordance with the professional code of the Nursing and Midwifery Board and the policies and procedures of Nursing HomeRequirementsRecognised nursing qualificationCurrent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)Knowledge of Residential Care legislation, including HIQA National Quality Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in IrelandAwareness of JCI standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks, as applicableSound understanding of the care needs of older people, including individuals living with dementiaLoyalty ProgrammeCareer advancement opportunities & educational assistance available
