Temple Bar Hotel Dublin is seeking a, Security to join the team in it's unique four star hotel.You will report to the Security Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during your shift. To maintain the safe and secure day to day operation of Temple Bar Hotel, with a special emphasis on Buskers and On the Ball.. Your role is key in maintaining the safety, security, and efficiency of the hotel.A Security will be responsible for:Enforce the door policy for Buskers and On the Ball as directed by management.Ensure a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff.Maintain order in queues and prevent entry of individuals involved in drug offenses.Clear the premises of customers before cash handling begins.Handle conflicts professionally while upholding the venue's image.Keep exits and fire exits clear and report any obstructions immediately.Report incidents, accidents, or near misses to management promptly.Conduct thorough checks to ensure all customers have vacated before lock-up.Attend required training sessions and assessments.Comply with all legal health, safety, fire, and hygiene regulations.To be successful in the role of Security we require:Previous experience in a security or similar role, preferably within hospitality or entertainment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle customer interactions and conflicts effectively.Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.Knowledge of health, safety, fire, and hygiene regulations.Understanding of security protocols and procedures for large venues.Ability to maintain a vigilant and proactive approach to ensuring the safety and security of patrons and staff.Ability to work nights and weekends, as required.A good understanding of the venue's policies and the ability to enforce them consistently.Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.A valid PSA License is required for the role, ensuring compliance with legal security requirements and certification to perform security duties.Working with us provides the following benefits to you:Staff Food: Complimentary meals during shifts.Employee Assistance Program: Access to confidential support services for personal and professional well-being.Staff Discount: Discounts on food, beverages, and stays across our global Ascott portfolio.About UsTemple Bar Hotel is a brand of The Ascott Limited.
