This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment while avoiding the daily M50 commute, providing an excellent work-life balance for candidates based across Meath, North Dublin, Louth, North Kildare,Loutha nd Cavan and surrounding counties.The Senior Procurement Coordinator will support the Procurement Manager in the delivery of efficient, compliant, and commercially focused procurement operations across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supplier management, procurement coordination, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring high service standards are maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Coordination: Managing the end-to-end purchase order process, including raising, tracking, and resolving purchasing queries to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Supplier Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring strong performance, service delivery, and accurate supplier records.Tender & Contract Support: Assisting in the preparation, coordination, and administration of tender documentation, supplier quotations, and procurement contracts.Compliance & Governance: Ensuring procurement activities are conducted in line with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Reporting & Data Analysis: Preparing procurement reports, spend analysis, and supplier performance data to support operational and strategic decision-making.Cost Control & Savings Initiatives: Identifying opportunities to improve value, reduce costs, and support procurement efficiencies across the business.Product Evaluation & Trials: Coordinating product trials with suppliers, customers, and service providers to ensure products meet operational and commercial requirements.Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a key point of contact for internal departments and external suppliers, ensuring effective communication and timely issue resolution.Process Improvement: Supporting the continuous improvement of procurement systems, procedures, and best practices.Documentation Management: Maintaining accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and audit-ready files.Skills and QualificationsPrevious experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role.Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.Excellent organisational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commercial awareness with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Experience supporting tendering and contract processes is desirable.CIPS qualification or working towards same would be advantageous.
