We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor for UCD Smurfit in University College Dublin.
Location: University College Dublin
Rate of pay: €17.00 per hour
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Key responsibilities:
1. Apply attention to detail to the way in which food and drinks are presented, ensuring the customer receives a quality product every time.
2. Be passionate about food, beverage, and customer service, seeking to ensure that the highest standards are met at all times.
3. Complete minor food preparation tasks as necessary to assist with food service.
4. Action customer compliments by praising staff and resolve complaints satisfactorily, referring to your line manager where necessary.
5. Manage the restaurant and bar booking sheets.
6. Liaise with the chef on duty to ensure seamless food service and maintain good communication with the head chef to provide feedback on food service.
7. Knowledge of health & safety and food safety in a catering environment.
8. Take responsibility for stock control, including ordering, acceptance, maintenance of stock levels, stock rotation, and reporting & returning any sub-standard items.
9. Able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
