Our Purpose As a key member of the team, the Process and Organizational Change Management (OCM) Project Manager – Product DNA offers a unique leadership opportunity to drive impactful change within the Medtronic Product DNA Program.
This transformational, multi-year initiative aims to create a connected thread of non-transactional product data, supporting the entire product lifecycle and interfacing with the broader ecosystem, including PLM, MES, and ERP systems.
The program will involve multiple projects and waves of deployment, providing a dynamic and challenging environment for innovation and leadership.
A Day in The Life Of: As the Process and OCM Project Manager, you will lead process management and organizational change management for the operations area of the Product DNA program.
Your responsibilities will include: Project Management: Serve as the PM for process owners across manufacturing and distribution sites within the scope of the Product DNA program.
Change Management: Lead OCM efforts for deployment across operations, including stakeholder management, business process definition, change impact analysis, and training.
Assist wave teams in assessing current processes ("AS IS") and defining future processes ("TO BE") for operations.
Process Optimization: Identify processes within scope and explore opportunities to consolidate ownership into shared or enterprise models where appropriate.
Collaboration: Partner closely with the Quality and OCM leads for the program and other stakeholders.
Scope Management: Monitor interdependencies with other workstreams or governed projects.
Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor KPIs for process areas within each wave of deployment.
Problem Solving: Lead or participate in teams to address structural issues, perform analyses, evaluate options, and develop recommendations on key process and system questions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage functional site and group-specific SMEs as needed.
Progress Monitoring: Ensure OCM and process activities are delivered on time and meet or exceed expectations for operations and business needs.
Release Planning: Participate in release planning for processes.
Advocacy: Champion the Product DNA program to engage and excite the end-user Key Skills
